“We are all home after what can only be described as an incredible Feile journey where friends and memories have been made for a lifetime. The dedication, driveand passion that our U14 girls team have shown throughout this year is admirable & I couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls to represent Hertfordshire. Playing in Ireland, the girls won 3 out of their 5 matches which saw them in the shield semifinal against a very strong St.John Bosco GAC who took the win. The girls played their hearts out throughout the whole tournament, stayed positive & driven and never once dropped their heads.
I would like to say a massive thank you to our hosts Knockbride, Co.Cavan – KnockbrideLadies Gaa – who made us feel so welcomed, looked after our girls and truly made our time with them very special. Thank you for all your time, efforts and everything that was organised and provided for the girls and us. Thank you too to the organisers of Feile.
